Extracting surface-temperatures and emissivities in the
thermal (8-12 mm) and mid-infrared (3-5 mm) wavelengths using data from
the spaceborne Multispectral Thermal Imager (MTI). This study is funded
by the Department of Energy through the Los Alamos National Lab. Characterizing surface properties such as lithological
composition and roughness of geomorphic surfaces, using remotely sensed
data in the visible – shortwave infrared wavelengths (0.4-2.5 mm). Non-linear spectral effects in the Thermal infrared to
discriminate desert landforms. |
